Living it down on the edge of your senses Spinning around another parlor of pretentions Enjoying the time, another place in the skyline Bring it into something that you thought you might have recognized Before you came to the door that's not locked there anymore A sneaky secret peep through a keyhole was all you Ever had before and now you want more You are more than you thought that you were there before you want more If you keep it there in something where it wasn't before It could take a while to re-adjust if live again at all It's no fault of your own that the line you were thrown Was never secured To anything at all So away you float There you go If it was something that I could believe But stretch at the seams And make better fit for us So it just fitted perfectly We'd be free And then we could see that there's nothing wrong With you and me having something wrong with you et moi But don't it seem so strange to see Some people living their lives in the way that they think it should be There's nothing wrong with you and me having something wrong with you and me There's nothing wrong with you and me having something wrong you see A busted brain, or a sickened sleeve - it just seems to be These days you see There's something wrong with everyone It's not just you and it's not just me As we keep on telling ourselves "This is the way it should be" There is nothing wrong with you or me.

SHAME 02:15
You should have said something You could have said anything You should have seen another night go by And looked at what you like in life In a clear new morning After the sleep you needed badly Did the thing you needed And you just woke up, yawning It's such a shame The more things change The more they stay the same... Again; another lonely day Another night in panic and in suffering you say ? And though it's sad and strange it seems easier to say That thinking of the best in everything and positivity Would save this human race With the dread of everything around us plastered on our face It's such a shame

Kicking around this broken town again I Didn't think this much would have changed She said The paths I know are gone and the roads I used to travel on Are not there anymore at all and friends are dead And all those days She battled through the maze And hunted for the exit to this life And all those dreams Torn and tattered at the seams The legacy of heartaches and failed flights If there was one then there must be more A cardinal sin, or a painted whore A loveless open grey and concrete day Shattering sighs and reopened eyes The children left to starve and cry She had no strength left to hurt or question why And all those days She drank her life away And waited for the world to disappear And all those nights spent in terror and in fear She carved herself the cross she had to bear It's only one more way It's only one one more way she has to pay It's only one more day she has to wake.
